Time To Refresh

  • Scheduled daily time off.
  • Look forward to our “Staff Development” day...a full day of re-grouping, recharging, and being together. This occurs after the third camp and is for all staff.
  • A 24-hour period between every camp.
  • Three days off in or near the middle of summer for full-summer staff (commitment of nine weeks plus staff training).
  • Special "Midsummer Night" Staff Party...a great chance to re-group, re-charge...and party!
  • Opportunity to attend local church services a few times (with transportation provided)
  • Frequent on-site fireside staff services.

Pacific Woods Lodge For Summer Staff

  • Most summer-long non-counseling staff will stay in our recently completed Pacific Woods Lodge.
  • This lodge features bathrooms in each bedroom, a large staff lounge with multiple email stations, a small library, staff concierge, storage space, meeting room, and more.
  • Most summer-long counselors stay in one cabin for the summer, and all will have storage space in Pacific Woods Lodge.
  • Most part-summer staff and CIT's will stay in our Sky Ridge Lodge accommodations.

Great Staff Extras

  • Use of our 9-acre Guest House waterfront property as a staff prayer and rest haven.
  • Use of our well-equipped fitness centre on the Guest House property.
  • Room and board is provided.
  • Personal laundry service at a great rate.
  • Transportation is provided into Duncan every week, and on Sundays for half the summer.
