Summer Staff Application & Acceptance Info
Please follow these steps to apply for summer staff:
- Fill out appication form on-line(or download and complete the attached Summer Staff Application (found at the bottom of this page). Note that there are different application forms for New and Recent Staff.
- Have three references complete a Qwanoes Reference Form. Download a Qwanoes Reference Form or ask your three references to complete their reference online (go to www.qwanoes.ca/staff/reference). References must be a minimum 20 years of age. Note that there are different reference forms for New and Recent Staff.
- Add your resume (you can email it to staffteam@qwanoes.ca).
- Add a signed "Responsibilities of Qwanoes Staff Members" form (or indicate agreement with on-line application).
Recruitment and Interview Time
Mostly occurs from January to early April. It is best that you apply as early as possible. After we have reviewed your application, we will contact you as soon as possible. Applications received after June 1st may take longer to process. Interviews are required for all staff, in person or by phone. We will contact you to arrange an interview time.
If accepted we will endeavor to have you serve in the area for which you applied. However, we trust that each of our staff would be willing to serve in other areas to meet special needs that may arise occasionally.
