Advance Crew (April 25 to the start of Staff Training)

Be Part Of Laying The Foundations For Summer (Volunteer Position)

Join this vital group of leaders that is involved in all aspects of preparing Qwanoes for the summer and working with pre- summer guest groups. Advance Crew, which starts on April 25 and goes until the start of Staff Training, is available to those who will be serving at camp all summer and who are 18 or older. PLEASE NOTE: Some financial support positions require starting in May or early June (we are flexible on the start date) but the Advance Crew option may also be possible for other positions please inquire as space is limited. Typically, positions which start in Advance Crew have a higher support amount available to be raised. Please contact Qwanoes for more information. Please indicate that "I am available for Advance Crew" under "Types of Service" on the summer staff application.

Kaléo Program Transition Team

Sep. 6 to Sep. 10 (Volunteer Position)

Assist in preparing Qwanoes to host students attending Kaléo, an 8-month leadership development program starting one week after summer camps end. Includes cleaning rooms, buildings and grounds. Stay in either the Qwanoes Guest House or Pacific Woods Lodge. Qwanoes will provide food service, as well as the opportunity for an evening devotional. Be a part of this vital team that will prepare the way for the new fall season of ministry at Qwanoes.

Post-Summer Wrap-up & Fall Staff Team

Option 1 Sep. 4 to Sep. 12 (Qwanoes contributes $100)

Option 2 Sep. 4 to Sep. 29 (Support Goal: $1400; Qwanoes contributes $400 if needed.)

Option 3 Sep. 4 to Nov. 11 (Support Goal: $3800; Qwanoes contributes $1000 if needed.)

Option 4 Sep. 4 to Dec. 7 (Support Goal: $5400; Qwanoes contributes $1600 if needed.)

Extend your summer! Stay at Qwanoes for a week, a month, or more to join together with the year-round staff team to help wrap-up the summer, transition the camp into the fall, and be a vital part of the camp’s ongoing ministry. Includes a variety of service projects, helping with Qwanoes fall retreats and events such as the Road Tour, and being part of a dynamic year-round community of staff, interns, and students. Available to current or previous summer staff who are 18 years and older. Please contact us for more information.
Please Note: If you serve on summer staff, a three day break will be arranged after summer ends. This position could be extended through to the spring and to the start of Advance Crew.
