Ethos Retreat at Camp Qwanoes 2011

For one weekend in the spring no matter where you’re from you can come to one of the most beautiful places on Vancouver Island, Camp Qwanoes, for a relaxing and refreshing retreat. This is a chance to meet some new friends or hang out with old ones. Ethos and Qwanoes are partnering together to provide you with an opportunity to connect within a vibrant young adults community and most importantly, to connect with your Creator.

About Camp Qwanoes:

Qwanoes is a youthfocused, year‐round camp and retreat centre with a heart for kids of all ages. Founded in 1966, Qwanoes is an ideal setting for fun‐filled, life‐changing adventure. Situated on 54 acres of magnificent scenic waterfront property on Vancouver Island between Victoria and Nanaimo, Qwanoes is a fully accredited member of B.C. Camping Association and Christian Camping International‐Canada.

Details:

  • Begins: Guests from Greater Vancouver will catch the 5:45pm ferry from Tsawwassen to the Duke Point ferry terminal in Nanaimo where bus transportation will be provided to Qwanoes.
  • Ends: Sunday 1:30pm. Guests from Greater Vancouver will catch the 3:15pm ferry from Duke Point and arrive in Tsawwassen at 5:15pm.
  • Accommodation: Warm dormitory-style rooms in Qwanoes' Lodges (Sky Ridge and the Pacific Woods Lodge).
  • What to bring: Your own bedding, Bible, alarm clock, flashlight, warm casual clothes, personal items, appropriate footwear, old clothes & shoes (just in case!), swimsuit.
  • What not to bring: Drugs, alcohol and excessive amounts of protein powder.
  • Activities:

    Challenge Course (Skyscraper, Screamer, Climbing Tower, Breathtaker, Etc.), Hiking, Horseshoes, Ping Pong, Street Hockey, Volleyball, Basketball, Foosball, Trampoline, and more.
