Speaker: Geordon Rendle

Photo of SpeakerGeordon has a Canadian passport and a Latino heart, as he lived in Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina for much of his life. When you ask him where he’s from, he celebrates that he is a global citizen! Geordon is a ‘Third Culture Kid’ - having lived most of his life outside of his passport country. He loves to help multi-national teenagers find their place and potential in the world. His two favourite words are enthusiasm and adventure and he’s often described as “naturally caffeinated!” He is a heart leader, stepping out compassionately wherever he goes. During the ‘Year of Tolerance’ in the United Arab Emirates, Geordon has had the privilege of working with the Ministry of Tolerance in pioneering their ‘Champions of Tolerance’ programs.

Geordon has a Masters in Leadership and a BA in Criminology and was a police officer in Victoria, Canada. He now serves with Youth for Christ, the world’s largest, faith-based NGO that works with teenagers. His roles have included Americas Area Director, President/CEO, and currently, Global Youth Advocate, speaking on behalf of teenagers all over the planet. He has visited 85 nations, summited Aconcagua (6962 metres) in Argentina, and is a keen swimmer, cyclist and runner - having participated in multiple Ironman races including completing this Kazakhstan Ironman in 2023.

Geordon and his wife Marilyn have been married since 1987 and have four children, a daughter-in-law and a granddaughter. Geordon and Marilyn’s passion is to mobilize leaders, particularly teenagers - engaging, equipping, and empowering them to bring hope to this generation wherever they live. Three of Geordon’s heroes are Eric Liddell, Mother Theresa and YOU! He’s looking forward to seeing you at the Men’s Retreat!
