We just got back from Missions Fest and it was quite a weekend! We heard a lot of great speakers like Will Graham (Billy Graham’s grandson), awesome bands and the best part was seeing all who came by the Qwanoes booth! Thanks to all those who stopped by, we loved seeing you!

The Battle Top Arena arrives @ Qwanoes! After Missions Fest a team of two headed across the border into the United States to pick up our newest game addition to Club Coco. It had quite a journey riding on top of our vehicle, the eyes of both the border guards and the BC Ferry crew got big and wide when seeing it come their way. There have only been three battle top arenas ever made and the only one in Canada is in Club Coco waiting for you! Who will be left standing this summer? Yours or theirs!?

The 2010 theme has finally been unveiled! Are you ready for an unforgettable week? Many of you have said YES to stepping out of the ordinary and discovering an adventure that is “OUT OF THIS WORLD!”

Thanks to those who were a part of Day #1 of summer camp registration! What a great start! At exactly 9:00 am this morning the phone lines lit up, faxes started coming in, and hundreds visited us online throughout the day.

I think Mel (Director of Staffing) took the first call…or was it Amanda (Registrar)? Or Brenda? Betty? Yes – they were all talking within seconds after 9:00 am and that got us all excited! Summer is coming…and we are so thankful to each one who chose to call us on Day 1.

To those who have already booked their spot, we are looking forward to counting down the days to summer with you!

We will be standing by every day looking forward to hearing from all our campers! If you haven’t registered yet, or if you know of a friend who you want to see at camp, we’ll be ready to save that spot at a moments notice!

Did you hear it from your house? It was a very exciting time at our New Years Staff Retreat when our summer staff experienced the new theme for the very first time. The Squirrel had our NEW theme song rockin’ in Club Coco and then as the poster was slowly being lowered it happened! The new logo and theme was revealed for the very first time and the cheers and applause roared and at that moment everyone knew it was going to be a very special year for Qwanoes and all of our campers.

We are ready and standing by for you! The easiest way to register is online…but you are also welcome to call, fax or even drop-in right at the camp! We can’t wait to hear from you and it all starts on January 4th at 9:00 am. All of our 2010 registration forms and on-line registration links will be ready on our website on January 4th by 9:00 am. It all starts on January 4th at 9:00 am. That’s when campers from far and wide can start booking their spot to come to camp this summer and we sure hope you are one of them!

(Our summer staff are going to get a sneak peak at our Summer Staff Retreat being held at Qwanoes Dec. 30 to Jan. 1!)

PARENTS & HST: We are sad to have to let you know that the new HST is going to apply to camps. Yes – we agree with you…it does not seem right! But there is some good news…you do not have to pay the HST if your camp fee is paid in full no later than April 30, 2010.
